What should I look for when hiring a car?

With so many different car hire companies out there it can be hard to choose who to hire your car through. They all seem to offer something different at all different prices. To help make the process a little bit simpler here are a few things to look out for:

• Inclusive or Standard
  It is always important to make sure you check if the rate is a standard or inclusive rate. If not, this can cause problems for you when you pick your hire car up. Inclusive rates are normally what most people would go for as this rate will include majority of costs e.g. Vehicle Licensing Fee, Airport Surcharge etc. Standard rates appear to be cheap as they don't include any additional charges. Make sure you read through all the terms and conditions before booking anything to make sure you have selected the rate that suits you best.
• Additional Charges
  This can play a big part in whether you choose an inclusive or standard rate. Make sure to read through all inclusions and non-inclusions. If you don't read these inclusions carefully you can end up paying large amounts at the pick-up location. It's also important to note that all additional items are paid in the local currency.
• Currency
