Sunshine, swimmers, sunscreen, check! Make sure you've got an awesome road trip playlist ready and you're on your way. Start your road trip in Sydney with a hearty breakfast overlooking Bondi Beach, Australia's most iconic beach and the perfect location to start your journey. Take in the scenery, breathe in the fresh air, and be the envy of everyone with awesome picture opportunities!

    Sydney to the Central Coast

Known as the legendary Pacific Coast, the 780 kilometres of Pacific Highway between Sydney and Byron Bay is breathtaking. Head out of Bondi and past Sydney's leafy northern suburbs towards the Central Coast, the first stop on your summer road trip with plenty to see and do. Feed pelicans and enjoy the water playground at the Entrance. Visit Tuggerah Lake to enjoy water activities such as water skiing, sailing and rowing. Those who don't wish to get wet ride can ride a bike around the shore. Dine at one of Terrigal's many oceanfront cafes or shop at one of the unique boutiques. Next stop is Port Stephens, a holiday haven with over 26 beaches to choose from. Drive up to the Nelson Head Lighthouse for panoramic views over Nelson Bay. A short distance from the lighthouse is the Nelson Bay marina. Here you have the opportunity to go snorkelling, kayaking or even early morning dolphin watching in the nearby waters. Head north to Forster, a small coastal town filled with beaches, boutiques and cafes. Explore the lakes, enjoy the fresh air, or take some time to chat to the locals and enjoy the fresh produce.
