    Licence Requirements

    The minimum age to rent a car in Romania is 21 years old and must have held your licence for a minimum of 1 year. Drivers under the age of 25 may incur a young driver surcharge and some suppliers may have a maximum age limit. An international drivers permit is mandatory.

    Tolls and Freeways

    Vignettes, a toll sticker, are compulsory in all roads in Romania. This valid toll sticker is required to be appropriately fixed to the windscreen of the car.
