    Parking in Athens can be difficult due to the heavy congestion, particularly in the suburban areas of Athens and Piraeus. Parking in the city centre is marked by white and blue lines. Please note that the parking areas outlined in blue are for locals only, but visitors may park in spaces outlined with white. The maximum parking time allowed is 3 hours. Parking for more than three hours is available at PolisPark underground parking areas.

    Toll roads are common in Greece and generally cost €0.70 - €2 per segment, though charges are subject to change at any time. It is advisable to carry small currency for tolls if driving long distances.
