RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and is designed to easily share information over the web. Using an RSS reader, you can view RSS data feeds from a variety of sources such as news sites or travel sites like ours.
How do I access RSS?
RSS Readers will download and display RSS feeds for you. There are a number of free and commercial programs that you can download and use. Most are "stand-alone" programs that run on your computer. You can search Google for RSS readers.
Why should I use RSS?
RSS allows you to receive the information you choose without having to go out and search for it. Once you have subscribed to a feed, your reader will automatically update whenever that feed changes. If you want more information about a topic in a feed, you can click on its headline and go directly to a web page about that topic.
