For a spectacular view of the area, drive your hire car east, to the town of Cefalu. Towering over the town is La Rocca, translated simply as “The Rock”. A massive rocky outcrop, the walk to the top may take a little while but the panoramic views from the top are well worth it. The weather in Sicily is generally pleasant all year round, and it is a must for visitors to take advantage of this. Simply drive your rental car along the coastline, and explore the area until you find a beach to your liking.
