Drive your hire car towards the south east corner of the country, and visit Bieszczady National Park. Home to many rare animals such as European Byson and Lynx, the park has amazing forests to explore, particularly scenic during winter when they are covered in snow.

During summer months in Poland, both tourists and locals alike head to the lakes and beaches to swim and unwind. Head north from Bieszczady in your rental car, towards the towns of Olsztyn, Elk and Mikolajki. These towns are located in the Masuria Lakeland region of the country, where you can find over 1000 lakes. Fishing, boating, swimming and kayaking are all popular here, definitely worth checking out during summer.
